Now that we have that out of the way, we can start working on some real techniques that will help you after you caught your wife cheating.  The first thing you need to do is to actually talk about what happened.  This is perhaps the most crucial part of the whole experience.  During this talk you need to discover for sure if your wife is sorry or not and if they truly regret what they did.  With this talk you should be figuring out if the relationship can be saved (generally, the answer is yes). 

Reevaluate your relationship and what it means to the other person.  How important is it that you stay with the person you with?  How important is it that she stays with you?  Are there kids involved?  These are all things that need to be considered.  Using these questions, you should be able to find out if it is even worth being saved.

If you have caught wife cheating, it may feel like the end of the world.  There IS good news though.  Generally infidelity is a one time thing and usually only happens because of existing problems in the relationship.  Consider it a concrete reason to start over and to reevaluate your relationship to make it better -- and YES, you CAN make it better!
